Jobs in the U.S. - by Jack

Jobs are very competitive in the US now. Although the US is a large country and the richest country in the world, they still have a recession. In 2008, the bank system of the US was almost bankrupt, and it has been getting worse.

In the last 5 or 10 years, if you want to get a job like at McDonalds or KFC, it will be easy to get it. Now , the economic crisis  impacts almost all American people, so they might loose their houses or jobs. They can not afford to pay their bills. That is why many American and immigrants  just receive welfare from the government to survive .

Unfortunately, as you graduate from college, you are not sure to get a job. President Obama is doing many things to keep the jobs of American people including  building the railroad system, improving transportation and signing bills to keep jobs. He and Joe Biden are working hard to make America better like what they talked about in the presidency campaign.

I believe in Mr Obama  and his advisors. Well, the US will be better, and they are going to continue to be the leader of the world in the 21st century like they were in the 20th century. I like political science, and the Democratic party because they represent the middle class, and I knew Joe Biden came from a middle class family in Delaware to become a vice president of the US.

So, I have the basic dream that most people who  come to the US have.  People who work hard and are patient, will be successful. I love the US in many ways, so I will join the military when the US needs me.
The American Dream is never dead because the US is a great country like Mr Obama always said, “God bless you, and God bless the United States of America. “  I highly believe in him  and believe in myself .
